Do I have to pay for a streaming subscription to use earnway.life?
Yes, for actually watching films. earnway.life is a discovery and rewards layer — when you click "Watch" on any title, you'll be sent to whichever licensed streamer has the film (Prime Video, JioCinema, Netflix, etc.). You'll need an active subscription there. If you sign up for a new service through us, that's actually when our commission (and your ART bonus) kicks in.
Can earnway.life actually stream the films directly?
No, and we'll never try to. Streaming actual films requires per-title licensing from each studio (deals worth crores). Aggregating from unlicensed sources triggers serious legal liability under the IT Act and Cinematograph (Amendment) Act. We've taken a different path — discovery + affiliate commissions — that's legitimate, sustainable, and still profitable for both you and us.
How does ART convert to real money?
1,000 ART = ₹100. Once you've accumulated at least 1,000 withdrawable ART (about ₹100), you can transfer to any bank account. We use zero-fee partner channels for HDFC, ICICI, SBI, and Axis. For other banks, a small ₹2.36 ACH fee applies. Transfers reach you in 1-2 business days.
What's the difference between ART and EW?
ART is your reward currency — earned by watching, reviewing, completing tasks. ART is withdrawable to your bank. EW is paid currency you can recharge to unlock premium features and trigger the 6-month installment plan (every ₹1 of EW recharge earns you ₹2 worth of ART back over the next 6 months). EW is not directly withdrawable, but it's the engine behind the guaranteed-income model.
How exactly does the referral 5% work?
Share your invite code. Anyone who signs up using it is your "ward" for 12 months. During that period, you earn 5% of every ART they earn. They don't earn less — the 5% comes from our commission share, not theirs. After 12 months, the guardianship period ends and they're free to choose a new referrer or none.
Is earnway.life only for India?
earnway.life works globally for discovery, but rewards (ART → cash withdrawal) are currently India-only. We support UPI, IMPS, and ACH bank transfers. International support coming after we cross 10,000 active Indian users.
What data do you collect about my viewing?
Only what you tell us. We don't have access to your viewing data on Netflix, Prime, etc. — we can't see what you watched there. When you mark a film as "watched" on earnway.life and rate it, that's what feeds your recommendations. You can delete your viewing data anytime in profile settings.
Is this related to the other Earnway sites?
Yes. earnway.life is one site in the broader Earnway ecosystem, alongside earnway.shop (AI tools), earnway.uk (games), and earnway.store (virtual try-on). You can sign in once and use the same ART balance across all of them. The unified login is the Central CRM project.
